Hypoxic environments 2018-02-12T23:26:48+00:00

Not only on high altitudes…

The Aviamed Hypoxia Recognition Training concept is developed for the aviation businesses but hypoxia is a medical risk that might occur in environments other than on high altitudes.

Other hypoxic environments

For fire security reasons a low oxygen environment is created in for example libraries, computer server centers, nuclear power plants and grocery storage halls. Hypoxia is also a well-known risk during work in closed compartments such as ship tanks. The staff in these occupational environments are at risk and can by hypoxia awareness training learn to recognize their own early symptoms of hypoxia.
